The eighth and final week of the Thoroughbred Idea Foundation’s Summer Prop Contest is upon us!

Props in this last week have been set by Glen Hill Farm CEO Craig Bernick. Also the founder and Chairman of the Thoroughbred Idea Foundation, Bernick is a regular horseplayer.

“We have been thrilled with the support of horseplayers and racing fans throughout the summer engaging with the Prop Contest for the benefit of jockey health-related initiatives,” said Bernick.

“There are no easy, all-encompassing solutions in our sport – improvement will take compromise and effort from all parties. Bringing fixed odds betting to horse racing would be welcome – modern, product development, long necessary to compete in a dynamic wagering marketplace. Fixed-odds betting should serve as a complement to the existing pari-mutuel offerings, not as a replacement. We hope that seeing the possibilities, week after week through a fun summer of racing, raised more awareness as we continue to push for a new set of options for horseplayers – long-standing and new.”
