The impact of COVID-19 on our industry will likely evolve for some time.

Horse Country, “an organization of horse farms, equine medical clinics and equine attractions dedicated to sharing the stories of Kentucky’s Horse Country,” is working with farms to bring their unique experiences to those who could not otherwise enjoy in-person visits. Different events are scheduled by a variety of farms through existing social media platforms, and more are likely to be added.

Mill Ridge Farm had more than 5,700 views on Wednesday of a “virtual” tour on Facebook hosted by Price Bell and will offer another experience today (Friday, March 20), beginning at 10:30 A.M. ET. Friday’s broadcast will include a visit with mares and foals.

Locations offering these include Claiborne, Denali Stud, Hallway Feeds, Lane's End, New Vocations, Spendthrift, Stonestreet and Taylor Made.
