Tim Meister of Camarillo, California won the fifth week of the TIF BetMakers Summer Prop Contest, besting Frank Moscardini Jr. of Wheaton, Illinois on the tiebreaker. Both were the only players with nine of 12 props correct.

It was a second consecutive strong week for Meister, who was one of six players tied for third in Week 4.

Meister chose to direct $1,000 to the Backside Learning Center at Churchill Downs. Moscardini also chose the BLC for a $600 second-place donation direction.

Former Horseplayer of the Year Michael Beychok won a seven-way tie for third this week and directed $400 to New Vocations.

In the overall standings, fifth week winner Tim Meister has moved into a tie for the overall lead with Jeffrey Coakley of Waikoloa, Hawaii who improved on his number of correct props as one of the seven players tied for third last week. Priscila Beloch dropped out of a first-place tie, but still improved on her overall number and stands alone in third with three weeks of the contest remaining.
